How to help

Many thanks to all of you who have been so generous to Santa Rosa United in our time of need.  We have been able to outfit our players with replacement cleats and uniforms which were lost in the fires.

As we move forward, we are focused on Fundraising efforts to support our current needs.  There are three areas on which we are focused:

1) Player invlovement:  We are helping to return players to trainings and games, but because travel to tournaments might not be an financial priority for families who lost everything in ther fires, SRU is working to provide aid to those who need it in order to get their children to tournaments.

2) Club Stability: Included among those that lost their homes were two of our own coaches.  We are raising money to help support the families who need help with paying dues because of fire losses.  We do this to make certain that our club can continue to cover all our operating expenses.

3) Fields Status:  We are having to rent fields because our main training area has been damaged and is closed until futher evaluation by the EPA, FEMA and Sonoma County Parks.  We are looking to raise $3 million to restore the fields to proper playing conditions.

Because we are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, we can and will issue charitable tax deduction forms for any monetary donations over $200.  Checks should be made out to Santa Rosa United Soccer Club and mailed to:
